Are you interested in finding out what being a Christian actually is? But you are not that keen on the idea of having to go to Church on Sunday Or maybe you are already one of the people who call themselves Christian, but you don’t know a hang of a lot about what Jesus did and said. You have doubts about bits of the Bible, and you find it pretty hard going when you try to read it. Or you read some parts of it and end up saying “WHAT???!!!!!”

Journey
Life Groups are a journey into the world of Christianity, exploring what is fact or fiction and a chance to observe, evaluate and even model on people who have been Christian for ages. These are safe places where you aren’t being judged and you will be able to question, raise your doubts, and challenge the Christian view point. We’re just ordinary people doing our best to figure out why we are here on earth, what is the purpose of our existence?
Variety
Life Groups meet at a variety of times, usually for about an hour and a half. There are groups that are just men’s or women’s groups, and most include couples and singles so there will be a group that suits you. Each group has it’s own character. Give me a call. If you’re interested and we can sort out where you are at, and find a group that suits you. It doesn’t cost, there is no obligation to stay, you will meet interesting people, and count on it, there Will Be No Pressure.

Life Groups Leader
HI, I’m John.  Some would say I am a geriatric (because my age starts with a 7..) and a genuine ‘grumpy old man’.  I can’t remember not going to Church so I have been in and out of Churches all my life, but one day I had to decide for myself that being Christian was a smart decision and I have never regretted it.  I have been involved in Life Groups since 1984, and I have come to see that these groups are great places to sort out what Christianity is all about. My business life was spent in the fabric trade, a charity that helped parents to do a better job, and finally in yacht brokerage. The sports I still enjoy are running (now walking), sailing and surfing. I am a ordinary but keen gardener, and I am blessed with a beautiful and talented wife, 3 married sons and their wives, 3 grand daughters.  I think that life is good and definitely worth living to the full.
